G'day, I'm Des
Photography is how I slow down and pay attention. I'm not chasing destinations or ticking places off a list — I'm chasing moments. Storms building on the horizon, the Milky Way cutting through a clear night, that brief window when everything lines up and the scene finally clicks.
Currently based in Far North Queensland, living full time in a caravan with my partner Abbi. If the forecast looks good, I go. That freedom feeds directly into both my photography and the stories I tell.
